Welcome to the eEpoch project
eEpoch is an IST Programm of the EU founded project aiming to demonstrate in practical terms and with actual demonstrations the technical specifications formulated by the eEurope Smart Card Charter – in the framework of eEurope – to guarantee the interoperability of the smart cards in terms of European Citizens’ Identification, Authentication and Signature.
This portal is the window to see the outcomes of eEpoch. Here you will find information on the technical specifications developed in the project, on the seven eEpoch demonstrators that are testing Interoperability Services accross Europe, as well as on the publications made during the project life-cycle.
